Privacy Policy

You can shop with confidence at Caravan Accessory Shop. We have always respected customer's privacy (nothing has changed post-GDPR, other than a slightly longer privacy policy!).

  • We only use your details in order to fulfil your order. 
  • We never have (and never will) sell customer details on to any third parties.
  • We do not store credit card details. Online payments are dealt with entirely by SagePay.
  • We will not send you any junk mail in the post.
  • If you have requested to be on our mailing list, we may send you a very occasional special offer e-mail. Because it is so rare for us to send special offer e-mails, they will be well worth receiving!

Extended Privacy Policy (for GDPR)

In order to fulfil your order we will need to pass your details on to one of our delivery partners and our payment service provider.

  1. Your address and contact details will be passed on to one of our delivery partners, in order to fulfil your order in the most efficient way.

    Our delivery partners are: DPD Local, Royal Mail and Parcel2Go.

    For parcels delivered by Royal Mail or Airmail we will pass on your address details.

    For courier delivered parcels we will pass on your address details, contact telephone number and e-mail address. This enables the courier to get in touch if there as problem with delivery and also enables them to send text or e-mail updates for your delivery.
     
  2. Your address and contact details will be passed on to our Payment Service Provider - Sage Pay - in order to process payment for your order and provide checks against potentially fraudulent transactions.

    Sage Pay is the largest independent payment service provider in the UK.

    Sage Pay is PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant to the highest level and maintains regular security audits. They are also regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure that their systems are impenetrable.

Our website uses Google Analytics so that we can see how many people have visited our website - as well as other statistics which are useful for website owners. Here is the Google Analytics Privacy Policy.

Data Removal (for GDPR)

Your address and contact details are stored in our database so that we have a record of each order - should any problems arise in the future.

Storing customer details enables our office staff to process repeat orders quickly and enables you to access your order history on our website.

Please contact us if you wish to remove your details from our database.
