Terms and Conditions

www.caravanaccessoryshop.co.uk  is owned by Caravan Accessory Shop Ltd (referred to as "The Shop/we/our/us"). As a user of this website (referred to as "you/your") you acknowledge that any use of this website including any transactions you make ("use/using") is subject to our terms and conditions below.

1. General

  • We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect immediately and it is your responsibility to read them before placing an order.

2. Products and Order Process

  • We reserve the right to refuse any order. You will be informed by e-mail and a full refund given.
  • Please see the FAQ or Help pages for information on when your order will arrive and delivery charges.
  • All items on our website are stock items but if an item is out of stock we will inform you by e-mail. You will then have the option to cancel the order or wait for the item to arrive.
  • Please note colours or makes of items may differ from those shown unless stated in the product title.
  • All sizes and measurements are approximate but we do try to be as accurate as possible.

3. Payment

  • You may pay for your order by card or cheque.
  • Full payment must be received before any goods are despatched.
  • If paying by cheque, please allow plenty of time for the cheque to clear (up to 14 days)
  • The price you pay is the price displayed on the website at the time of ordering plus any relevant carriage costs (displayed on each products individual page and automatically added to your shopping basket total). If we discover an error in the price of goods we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the new price or cancelling it.
  • Title to any products you order on this website will pass to you on delivery provided full payment has been received.

4. Returns and Cancellations

  • We offer a money back guarantee on unwanted goods returned within 14 days of purchase. Please see the FAQ page for details of how to return items.
  • We aim to process refunds quickly but please allow up to 14 days (from the time that an item is received back to us) for a refund to processed.
  • In the unlikely event that you receive faulty, damaged or incorrect goods please contact us immediately and we will arrange for a replacement to be sent.
  • Gas appliances may not be returned once any packaging has been opened.
  • Warranties for gas appliances will only be valid if installed by a qualified gas engineer.
  • A restocking charge may be applied to goods returned after 14 days.

5. Privacy Policy

  • Your details will NOT be passed on to anyone else.
  • Your details will only be used in connection with your order.
  • We will send you very occasional sales e-mails if you have requested to receive them.
  • Passwords are stored in an encrypted format so no one other than you can view them.

6. Delivery

  • Most orders are despatched next working day for delivery the following working day. We make every effort to deliver quickly but our standard delivery options are not guaranteed (they are very, very (!) good though).
  • If you require a guaranteed delivery time or day then please contact us for a quote.
  • If you provide an incorrect or incomplete delivery address then extra delivery charges may be incurred before your order can be delivered.
  • If you would like to be able to track your order, please ensure you select a tracked delivery method (e.g. Courier Delivery).
  • If you would like to receive tracking information, and have chosen a tracked delivery method, please ensure you have entered either a valid e-mail address or mobile number.
  • If we despatch your order by courier we will notify you by e-mail the evening before it will be delivered. A signature will be required. If no one is available our couriers will leave a card. You can arrange for another delivery or collect from their depot. If you do not arrange redelivery within a week the parcel will be returned to us and there will be another charge for it to be sent out again.
  • Please check your order immediately, once delivered, as any claims for shortages or damages (very rare occurences!) must be made by e-mail or phone to us within 48 hours of delivery.
  • If you have asked for your order to be left safe (e.g "by the front door") this will be completely your responsibilty. If you have specified this, no claims will be accepted should the order go missing after delivery (our couriers are able to provide proof of delivery).
  • Severe weather conditions can add a number of days on to estimated delivery times.
  • We will not accept any liability for delay or failure to deliver goods within estimated timescales.
